Eleanor M. Maslanich
Eleanor M. Maslanich (nee Ludwig), 76, of North Royalton, passed away May 16, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of John Maslanich for nearly 50 years; loving mother of Jeff Maslanich and Leslie Maslanich; devoted grandmother of Joshua Maslanich; dear sister of Norman Ludwig (Carol); cherished aunt of Renee and Paul Ludwig, Nathan Maslanich, and the late Zachary Maslanich; and cousin and dear friend to many.
Eleanor was a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a major in home economics and taught in the Parma School District. She was a charter member of Parma Heights Baptist Church and had worked as a scheduling coordinator and helper in the children’s nursery for nearly 50 years. She also was a member of the church choir and taught Sunday school and Bible school in her earlier years. She loved cooking and baking her favorite recipes for her family and friends. She anxiously awaited the spring growing season each year to plant and maintain her garden. She loved her family and friends very much and loved spending time with them. She especially enjoyed spending a day with family and friends in Amish Country. Most importantly, she loved worshipping and serving the Lord and valued her quiet time with Jesus.
