Gardenview did not get the recognition it deserves
Letter to the editor
To the Editor:
I received the Strongsville Magazine in my mailbox and the primary focus was about all the green space in Strongsville. One article even began, “Everywhere you look, there’s green in Strongsville.”

In case anyone is interested, and does not know, there is one green space in Strongsville not mentioned anywhere in the magazine. For just a minimal fee, you can get out of the “rat race,” as former resident Henry Ross called it, and visit Gardenview Horticultural Park. It began in 1949 by Henry Ross and continues today through the dedication of Mark LaRosa, the Gardenview Trustees/Staff and contributors.

After you read your copy of the magazine that boasts how Strongsville is in its 22nd year of being a Tree City USA Community, I encourage you to take a drive. While dodging through all the chaotic traffic of Strongsville, stop at Gardenview on Pearl Road. Not only will you find plenty of green space, but you will also find the well needed peace and quiet.
