The Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society presents the classic musical comedy “The Pirates of Penzance,” one of Gilbert & Sullivan’s most popular shows, at 8 p.m.

Friday, June 14, at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, June 15 and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16.

It will be performed at Delaware Valley University’s Life Sciences Theater, 700 E. Butler Ave., Doylestown, and the Bucks County Gilbert and Sullivan Orchestra will accompany the cast of more than 25 singers.

With songs such as “Poor, Wandering One” and “I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General,” plus characters such as the leap-year lovers Frederic and Mabel and the Pirate King, the musical romp is for the entire family.

Directing “Pirates” is David Swartz of Ambler, with Florrie Marks of Havertown, Lee F. Milhous and Robert Binkley of New Britain directing music. Bill Buckman of Doylestown, Jill Dulany of Warrington and Lisa Lettero of Jamison are producing the show.

Joy Woffindin of Lambertville, N.J., is choreographer, and Jesse Roy of Doylestown is stage manager.

The cast of “The Pirates of Penzance” features Rebecca Shimer of Eagleville as Mabel, Derek Hess of Boyertown as Frederic, Chris Capitolo of Abington as the Pirate King, George Achilles of Doylestown as Major-General Stanley, Theresa Swartz of Ambler as Ruth, Wilbur Lewis of North Brunswick, N.J., as the Sergeant of Police, Timothy Faulkner of Ewing, N.J., as Samuel, Abby Capitolo of Abington as Edith, Lily Kull of Ardmore as Kate and Faith Donaher of Phoenixville as Isabel.

The chorus of pirates, maidens and police includes Bill Buckman, Jen Feder, Sarah Fiorelli, Mickie Hastings, Dennis Klöppel and Doug Wetterau of Doylestown; Perry Beem and Jean Weber of Warrington; Bob Binkley of New Britain; Ginny Ziegler of Pipersville; Alice Deanin of Princeton, N.J.; Joy Woffindin of Lambertville, N.J.; Ridge Goodwin of Holicong; Greg Kopcho of Langhorne; Jim Sanders of New Hope; Jerry Schaefer of Ardsley; Elise and Bethany Genzlinger of Bryn Athyn; Diana Lefevre of Abington; Tobi Goldberg Maguire of Elkins Park; Jazmin Pachas of Warminster; and Jim Stabilito of Jamison.
