St. Mary Elementary and Junior High
School takes pride in student achievement
and continues to have a wonderful spirit
of learning. We are strongly committed to
maintaining a positive educational climate;
one that is indicative of the Christian
values we teach. The success of our
endeavors is contingent upon the excellent
cooperation which exists between St.
Mary administration, parents, teachers,
and students alike.
Prayer is an integral part of our faith
life. We begin each day in prayer and
celebrate a school Mass weekly. Our
school is devoted to the mission of the
Church given to us by Jesus Christ Himself.
The sacraments - in which we encounter
Jesus and receive transforming graces
- are the center of our effort to develop
the character of Christ in our children
and ourselves. Our children respond to
the needs of the community each year by
doing service work or collecting for those
in need; teaching our young people how to
do and give to others.
Catholic schools provide good things for
students and families--high expectations
and daily experience of faith. There is no
better way to invest in a child's future--or
the future of our world. In most parts of
the country a Catholic education is not
without some cost. But there isn't a better
investment in the future than to invest in the
education of a child. Because of that, our
mission is to educate the entire child and
that is possible by offering a full curriculum
including visual and performing arts,
computer and physical education. Band is
also offered. An excellent sports program
for boys and girls is open to students in 4th
through 8th grade, aftercare is available,
bus service through our cooperating
school district, Title I program for Reading
enrichment, a hot lunch program, pre3,
pre4, and preK, all day kindergarten
and more......CALL AND SET UP AN
APPOINTMENT TO TOUR OUR SCHOOL.
WE WOULD WELCOME YOUR VISIT.
