The fairytale castle cake
by Jenny Knott (www.
designercakes.co.uk, 01446
781473), epitomised Sasha's
fairytale princess theme. The
cake topper and carriage
favours were from the States
from
www.fairytaleweddingstore.
com Sasha's tiara was from
www.tiararama.co.uk, and her
gown from Pronuptia, Cardiff,
029 2039 6315. Flowers were
by Clytha Park Flowers, www.
clythaparkflowers.co.uk and
hair by The Forum Spa at Celtic
Manor Resort. Chair covers
were by Occasion Linen, www.
occasionchaircovers.com.
Bridesmaids' hair was by
Head Office, 01446 730444.
The couple honeymooned
in Atlantis Paradise in the
Bahamas, with Kingston and
Sasha's parents joining them for
the second week.
Kingston, the couple's son, who was
just one year old, was star of the
show in his cute-as-a-button Bhs suit.
The rings
Sasha teamed her dream
Pronuptia dress with a floral ring with
sentimental value. "It belonged to
my late nan," she says. "So it was my
something old and my something
borrowed. I didn't wear my
engagement ring on the day, but it
was from Pravins and though men
don't normally have engagement
rings, I thought it was only fair to
buy Dave one when he bought
mine, so I got him something by
Clogau Gold, which he loved. His
wedding ring was from Diamond
Thoughts and was designed by
owner Bobby Cato and based on
David's engagement ring, which
David loved, but with a bit of added
`bling'."
The reception
The pink-themed ceremony was
emotional with plenty of sparkle and
plenty of tears. David cried during
his speech and Sasha says: "In
fairness to him, he is a really sensitive
boy at heart. I knew he wasn't
looking forward to having to give a
speech and I think a combination
of nerves and emotions got to him
a bit."
