1The successful candidates will be responsible and have the authority to manage a range of
product lines within the manufacturing area, ensuring all manufacturing goals in terms of Quality,
Safety, Output and Costs are achieved. The Production Supervisors will lead and manage a
team including direct and support staff and will be responsible for:
The implementation of effective and efficient practices in defined areas of accountability, e.g.
production, quality performance, safety practices, process improvements, cost reduction, and
project management where applicable
People management, training and development activities
Drive labour efficiencies to contribute to plant objectives.
Participate in the development of Harmac as a progressive and competitive location.
Ensure high levels of quality by ensuring adherence to all internal specifications, SOP8217s and reg-
ulatory requirements.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing industry or
related discipline.
Experience of lean manufacturing techniques, e.g. Six Sigma, is advantageous.
Effective communicator at all levels of an organisation.
Aproven record of accomplishments in a high volume production environment.
