YORKSHIRE TODAY
WEDDING GUIDESTAG & HEN NIGHTSYou8217ll want your wedding day to be one
of the most important and memorable
occasions in your life so make sure you
don8217t plan the stag and hen night too near to
the big day itself.
Yorkshire Today readers, Nigel and Sharon,
shared with us their experience of how they
got it very, very wrong. 8220Nigel8217s best man had
planned his stag night the night before our
wedding and come the big day itself he was
somewhat worse for wear.8221 Sharon continues,
8220It was all his best man could do to wake
himself up let alone Nigel and when they
eventually arrived at the church they both
looked pale and washed out.8221
Nigel confesses, 8220I can remember waking up
that morning, the whole room was still
spinning and I had to stop twice on the way to
the church as I felt physically sick 8211 it was like
a sketch from Men Behaving Badly.8221
But whilst this may all sound quite comical,
it can be easily avoided by planning the events
further in advance, and remember girls it8217s not
just the stag who goes a bit wild before the big
day!
And as we all know, organising a group of
friends for a night out can be difficult at the
best of times. Add to that accommodation,
travel, picking the right activities to suit
everyone8217s tastes, at a price everyone can afford
and all in enough time and you begin to see
that you8217ve taken on quite a task. This is where
an event specialist or wedding planner comes
into their own. An event organiser needn8217t cost
you more than arranging your own event
either 8211 quite often they8217re able to access
discounts you can8217t.
Whichever way you decide to go though,
remember there are four simple points to
arranging a great stag or hen night:
1. Who?
