To all our staff, suppliers and partners - these are for you
HMD Kontro is the home of the sealless pump,
having originally developed the magnetic drive
concept, here in Eastbourne over sixty years ago.
Today our products are exported worldwide and the
majority of the manufacturing is still undertaken in
the town.
Working closely with our staff, suppliers and channel
partners and using a process based approach to
quality improvements we have seen a significant step
change in our business. This has given our parent
company, the Sundyne Corporation in America the
confidence to invest over �2 million at our Eastbourne
factory over the last 18 months.
Combined with the use of lean manufacturing
principles this has increased our capacity by over
100%, ensuring that we remain at our site in
Eastbourne and have the capability to grow in line with
our strategic plans.
These improvements have also allowed us to invest in
new product development to keep us at the leading
edge of our technology and market including a
forthcoming new product that will result in up to 20%
reduction in energy consumption.
We are proud of our achievements, including winning
these awards. Thanks once again to all of our staff,
suppliers and channel partners for their support.
