Sourcing and then serving the finest, freshest
local produce available on any one given day 8211 be
it fresh from the butcher8217s block or seasonal hand
picked vegetables and fruits; gives an ever
changing, interesting and varied menu to choose
from, whatever your taste or fancy at the time, be
it a-la-carte or 8216pub grub 8216 with an interesting twist.
The Crown at Sproxton provides a relaxed
enjoyable setting fit for any occasion.
To fully complement the menus there is a wide
variety of fine wines, personally sourced and
imported by the owners, which reflects very
strongly in the quality and prices offered, but
don8217t be shy to ask for anything a little more
special should it not be on the comprehensive
wine list. The Crown is also a free house serving
a good range of beers and real ales.
Already becoming a firm favourite earning a
great reputation is The Crown Inn Fish Platter of
sea bass, salmon, scallops and king prawns
served with new potatoes and mixed leaf. Also
hugely popular is the Lincolnshire Red Long
Horn fillet of beef with confit potato, wild
mushrooms, balsamic cherry tomatoes and
thyme Jus.
