I
t stands to reason that the East Central
region attracts a considerable proportion
of Scotland's tourists well, it is the
home of the capital city, Edinburgh, after all!
It is equally unsurprising that a sizeable
number of those tourists happen to be
keen anglers, as the region is almost literally
awash with places to go and cast a line.
There is an abundance of rivers and lochs
to be found in the region, as well as a
beautiful and rugged long coastline that
extends along both banks of the Firth of
Forth as well as the Firth of Tay. In simple
terms, the area is bursting at the seams with
places to do a spot of fishing.
As for the accommodation on offer,
again, there is plenty to choose from, no
matter your preference or your budget.
From city-centre hotels to countryside
B&Bs, you can be sure of finding something
that tickles your fancy.
