me
he
was
8216pulling
out
the
moves8217
and
could
have
8216easily
8217
choreographed
our
first
dance
himself
.
She
must
have
seen
the
look
of
horror
on
my
face,
because
she
instantly
put
us
at
ease
by
telling
us
not
to
be
too
worried
if
we8217re
not
perfect
by
the
end
of
an
hour
,
as
most
couples
need
between
three
and
five
lessons,
and
that
we
had
a
great
choice
of
song.
I8217m
afraid
that
information
will
remain
top
secret
until
the
Big
Day
itself
,
but
suffice
to
say
,
we8217ve
unwittingly
chosen
a
good
8217un
because
at
less
than
three
minutes
long,
we
have
fewer
moves
to
learn,
and
it8217s
an
upbeat,
fast-paced
number
that
means
we
can
have
some
fun
with
the
routine.
Wi
thin
minutes
of
our
lesson
starting,
Clare
had
taught
us
the
moves
for
the
chorus.
If
everything
else
goes
wrong,
she
told
us,
you8217ll
still
have
that
to
fall
back
on.
Needless
to
say
,
by
the
time
we
came
back
to
it
half
an
hour
later
after
learning
the
first
minute
or
so
of
our
dance,
I8217d
completely
for
gotten
what
we
were
supposed
to
be
doing,
crashing
into
my
fianc233
by
moving
the
wrong
way
and
getting
the
moves
all
muddled.
Thankfully
Clare
had
the
patience
and
the
sense
of
humour
to
mak
e
sure
the
routine
was
fix
ed
in
my
mind,
going
over
and
over
it
until
I
had
it
down
to
a
tee.
Her
advice
was
to
start
with
something
simple,
to
fool
people
into
thinking
this
wasn
8217t
going
to
be
anything
special,
before
wowing
them
with
the
dance.
Thankfully
,
there
wasn
8217t
anything
too
complicated
in
the
routine
-
we
were
amazed
at
just
how
effective
a
few
simple
moves
could
be.
She
reassured
us
that
we
were
bound
to
feel
a
bit
stupid
doing
this
in
the
living
room
with
the
furniture
pushed
to
the
side,
but
said
that
on
the
big
day
,
when
we
are
in
our
wedding
gear
,
it
will
look
amazing.
Amazing,
and
good
fun
too.
As
exe
rcise
goes,
it8217s
way
more
appealing
than
the
gym
and
I
hadn
8217t
laughed
so
hard
in
ages.
On
Clare8217s
advice,
I
even
managed
the
hour
-session
in
four
-inch
stiletto
heels
(Clare8217s
idea
so
that
I
won
8217t
find
it
such
a
shock
on
the
big
day).
The
real
test
came
when
Clare
left
and
fianc233
and
I
were
left
to
see
how
much
we
could
remember
without
her
stood
ne
xt
to
us
shouting
out
the
moves.
We
surprised
ourselves
by
getting
it
almost
spot
on.
It
wasn
8217t
quite
Johnny
and
Baby
,
but
as
anyone
who
has
watched
Dirty
Dancing
will
know
,
there8217s
something
especially
se
xy
about
dancing
up
close
and
personal
with
the
one
you
love.
And
in
the
run-up
to
your
wedding,
with
all
the
stress
and
disagreements
that
inevitably
involves,
it8217s
a
wonderful
way
of
reconnecting
with
your
partner
and
remembering
why
you
agreed
to
get
married
in
the
first
place.
