THE TREATMENT
T
he Elemis Visible Brilliance facial is a
70 minute treatment independently
tested and proven to give immediate
and revolutionary results. Expert
clinical trials have found the treatment
to increase skin's elasticity by up to 28
per cent and moisturisation levels to be increased
by up to 38 per cent, after just one treatment.
This advanced anti-ageing therapy provides the
skin with cell plumping nutrition that has an
immediate deep cleansing action while restoring
moisture levels. It works to rejuvenate and plump
up ageing, stressed and slackened skin, while
helping to reduce the appearance of dark circles.
The facial also brings together the strengths of
dynamic eastern massage techniques including
Thai massage and Tui Na. Flowing movements
outline the face and neck to encourage lymphatic
drainage to define and tone the jaw line and help
soften and relax stressed skin. After the treatment
the complexion is smoother, nourished and hydrated.
The treatment begins with a foot cleansing
ritual using lime-infused mitts and Thai foot
massage techniques. Face and eyes are cleansed
with Elemis Rehydrating Rosepetal Cleanser to
remove impurities and dissolve make-up, this is
followed by an application of Elemis Rehydrating
Ginseng Toner.
A warm lavender-infused compress is then
gently rolled over the face to increase circulation
and encourage absorption. Using gentle prayer-
like movements, the face, eyes, neck and d�collet�
are massaged with a blend of Japanese Camellia
Oil and Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules,
individually prescribed to skin type.
A deep hands-on facial massage is performed
using a sequence of specialised micro-circulatory
techniques devised to detox and tone the face
including Thai drainage, Hawaiian, Balinese,
Reiki and Shiatsu movements. This is followed by
an intense eye rejuvenation treatment designed to
lift, tone and decongest the eye area.
Papaya Enzyme Peel, a gentle facial exfoliator,
is then used. The natural fruit enzymatic action of
papaya and pineapple smooth and brighten the
skin, resulting in a radiant complexion. Warm
lime-infused mitts are used to remove the peel and
the skin is refreshed and toned.
The face is then covered in a layer of Liquid
Radiance Phase 1, pH Optimiser, a treatment
complex designed to instantly recondition and
soften stressed skin cells.
Natural silk compresses drenched with collagen
boosting absolutes of rose and mimosa are placed
around the delicate eye area. This is followed by a
whole face application of the mineral-rich Amino
Active Mask, which works to smooth, sculpt and
restore skin tone. While the skin soaks up the
mask's richness, the therapist performs an
invigorating dry scalp massage.
The Amino Active Mask forms a rubberised
layer, which is then gently peeled off. The skin is
cleansed and toned and Liquid Radiance Phase 2,
Vitamin Boost is applied to the face and neck,
providing the skin with a powerful cocktail of 15
cellular boosting extracts. A layer of nourishing
Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask is smoothed
over face and neck using prayer-like movements.
While the Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask
delivers a dynamic blend of nourishing extracts to
the skin, the therapist performs a conditioning
hand and arm treatment using a range of
techniques, applied to key pressure points. A layer
of Elemis Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask is then
applied to the hands and arms to nourish and
restore vital moisture levels.
The mask is removed and the skin is refreshed
and softened with Rehydrating Ginseng Toner.
Elemis Eye Support is then applied to the eye
contour followed by revolutionary Pro-Collagen
Marine Cream, smoothed over the entire face.
