L'Impressionniste
Barging in Burgundy was the most delightful
thing to do! Not to have to pack and unpack
each day was a treat. On board L'Impressionniste
we were looked after like kings and taken to all
the sites of interest or importance in the area.
James, our skipper and tour guide was excellent
and very knowledgeable, all the crew were very
pleasant. It's the very best way to experience
France! Merci.

Scottish Highlander
The chef was excellent. The quiches he served at
lunch were the best we have ever tasted and
given the superb food we have had before with
European Waterways, that is praise indeed!

We all had a wonderful time, especially as we
were just one family on the barge. It was
beautiful. The staff and captain were all excellent
and attentive � very good with the children too.
The Calvados was very good when I could get
my hands on it!

barge. I would always recommend this barge and
this crew at anytime and we had a chat to them

completely relaxing, the food and wine were the

The size of the barge and the personal care
afforded to us by captain and crew are ideal for
someone with limited mobility. Just being on
board and slowly cruising along is as enjoyable
