David Perry seems to prefer a
maverick approach to devising
his arrangements. Essentially
deeply personal songs, they are
rendered in lo-fi drum machines
garnished lush with orchestral
backings and lashings of
ambient delay underpinning
David's striking voice and simple
chord progressions. The spacious
sound allows these songs to
spread out over a grand scope,
which seems to depend on the
time, the place and the mood
he's in.
