August 2006, The Wheatsheaf Inn has
become a popular destination for eating
and drinking in Boston.
The most recent change comes in the bar
area, which has been redecorated and
refurbished and now offers a wonderfully warm
welcome. The Wheatsheaf offers a fine selection
of real ales, and they often alternate the
selection, bringing in new guest beers, as well as
a wonderful choice of fine wines. Guests can
also relax in the waterside beer garden and
outdoor seating area.
The menu at The Wheatsheaf offers traditional
English food. There is a wide selection of meals
to suit every palate, which are prepared and
cooked to order. The Wheatsheaf makes a point
of using fresh local produce, and serve up
exceptional steaks and succulent roast meats
from award winning Lincolnshire butchers FC
Phipps. You can taste the difference in the
flavour, with many suggesting that they supply
some of the finest meat in England. Meals are
often accompanied by The Wheatsheaf8217s home
made chips, which always go down a storm.
Sunday night is now steak night at The
Wheatsheaf, and they also offer a traditional
Sunday lunch with a fine selection of meats also
provided by FC Phipps. The Wheatsheaf can
cater for private functions, business lunches and
