Perhaps the archetypal seasoned veteran, Paul Robinson has
been plying his highly skilled trade as a freelance drummer
ever since leaving school in 1970. Paul drummed for the
legendary Nina Simone from 1984 right up until her death in
2003. He has also toured and recorded with numerous artists,
including Van Morrison, Rod Stewart, The Buggles ("Video
Killed The Radio Star"), Paul McCartney, The Proclaimers,
Duane Eddy and producer Trevor Horn, as well as sessions
for TV and West End musicals. Now wrapping up his fourth
decade as a professional musician, Paul continues to be an
indemand session drummer from his London base to this day.
