WEDDING GUIDE 49TRANSPORTwell and are certainly more reliable than horse
power. A stretch limousine can also add a touch of
Hollywood glamour or even using a more modern
set of wheels like an Aston Martin. Horse powerA horse-drawn carriage is probably how every
bride imagines their entrance to be and it certainly
looks very romantic, perfect for the country
wedding. But it8217s worth remembering that the
weather may not be on your side and if you8217re
running late the driver can8217t put his foot down! For
traffic reasons it8217s also best to avoid carriages for
city venues.Your own transportIf you8217re
passionate about
your own motor it
might be worth
using it on the big day. It8217s certainly a cheaper
option and will definitely add a personal touch to
the day, especially if you8217ve had it a long time. Just
remember you8217ll still need a driver and they8217ll
need to be insured.Being individualIf you don8217t fancy arriving by horse or car then
there are of course a variety of options open to
you. If you8217ve venue will allow it, you could try a
boat or even a helicopter! Both will make that day
feel just that little bit extra special.PHOTO COURTESY OF KAMARA DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPH STUDIO48-49:Layout 1 29/11/07 14:22 Page 2
