grasses were carefully packed and
transported to Lapland.
After the ceremony they went to
the nearby Winter Wonderland hotel
for champagne and hot drinks and
Angela and Mark, 34, also cut the
white chocolate wedding cake.
Angela said: "Our wedding
coordinator said that it was a Finish
tradition that once the cake had been
cut, the first of the bride and groom
to stamp their feet would have the
upper hand in the marriage. I won!"
The wedding party were then taken
to a nearby log cabin where they all
had a three-course meal before
returning to their hotel, the
Rantasipi Pohavanji.
For the remaining time in Lapland,
they all enjoyed snow mobile safaris,
husky sleighs, tobogganing and on
the final night they attended a gala
dinner, where Father Christmas was
the special guest.
"Mason loved the whole
experience," said Angela. "I had
imagined what it would be like but I
had started to worry whether it
would go to plan but in the end it was
just perfect."
After returning home, Angela and
Mark, a joiner, held a reception at
Grasslot Welfare Social Club for
family and friends who couldn't
make it to Lapland.
This gave Angela a chance to wear
her wedding gown again and there
was a buffet and disco by Boogie
Nights.
Angela had also arranged for a
projector to show images from the
wedding.
