Dalton, the recently re-opened Star Inn offers
some of finest cuisine in the area. Closed for
several months by new owners Paul and Shaun
Raper of Now Then Pubs Ltd, the Star Inn has
been transformed into one of the premier spots
in the region for food.
With beautiful surroundings, the Star Inn also
provides a very tempting menu headed by
Award-winning head chef, Andy Porter and sous
chef Mark Addy, previously of Mason8217s in York
when it won the Journal8217s Restaurant of the
Month award. Joining the rest of the team, the
staff at the Star Inn are no strangers to success
and through this they are able to offer meals of
the highest quality, in a comfortable atmosphere
with service second to none.
The restaurant menu provides a treat for
diners with meals daily aside from Monday and
Tuesday lunchtimes, and during the festive
season there is a choice of delicious and
appealing treats to suit all.
As part of the refurbishment, accommodation
is now available for anyone wishing to stay and
enjoy the village of North Dalton. Eight
bedrooms with first class facilities are available
with bed and breakfast from 16355.
Food is available from the bar menu from
midday to 3.00pm, with finer dining in the
restaurant from 5.00pm to 7.30pm, however,
booking is advisable on weekend evenings to
