ith the longest coastline

visit the mysterious Shell Grotto,

millions of shells. There's also Quex
House and the Powell-Cotton

park, which offers a whole range of entertainment from the Victorian
wildlife and anthropological museum to the beautiful grounds, with indoor
and outdoor play areas, a maize maze, a farmers' market and a restaurant.
Wherever you are in Kent's stunning countryside, you'll find something to
do with the family.
Diggerland in Strood will fulfill many a child's dream of playing with big
machines, and The Hop Farm Family Park in Tonbridge has all the activities
a child could want from funfair rides and an animal farm to an extreme
zone and magic factory. Children can even learn some history through the
Hop Story Museum and the life-size recreation of a bygone village. Kent
Life, the county's premier heritage farm attraction, offers great family fun,
with an outdoor adventure play area, a fun-filled indoor 'Play Barn',
hands-on Cuddle Corner and the chance to step back 150 years and learn
about country life with its collection of historic rural buildings. Farming
World in Faversham is a fantastic, working farm park attraction and makes
an excellent value family day out.
