of celebrity fans, the hydra facial
treatment is still relatively new to
the UK, with Cranwell House
being only the third clinic in the
country to offer the service.
"It is really exciting," says
Charlotte."It is a serum-based
skin resurfacing treatment that not
only removes the dead skin cells,
but also pumps moisture in the
form of serum deep into the skin.
"It removes congestion from the
complexion and at the same time
gives it a really good level of
hydration."
The serums used in the facial can
include the newly developed TNS
serum treatment. It contains a mix
of human growth factors, soluble
collagen and antioxidants
discovered through wound healing
research to renew the skin.
As well as the cosmetic
enhancements the facial brings,
such as revealing younger, more
youthful skin, when combined with
light therapy it can also be
beneficial health-wise for those
with problems, such as acne.
It is this duel function which is at
the heart of Charlotte's ethos for
Cranwell House � looking at
beauty within the context of
health.
"I wanted it to be a holistic
approach," she says,"somewhere
people can come to relax, be
pampered and leave feeling
refreshed, both physically and
mentally."
To that end a life coach,
counselling, hypnotherapy, fitness,
massage and nutrition advice all sit
alongside the manicure and
pedicures of a high street salon
and the derma fillers and aesthetic
skin treatments of a clinic, to make
the services at Cranwell House
live up to Charlotte's ambition.
"We are growing all the time,"
she says,"I have to pinch myself
sometimes that we have got it off
the ground. It really is my dream
come true."
