One of the highest freefall slides in Northern Ireland is
the major new attraction at Peter Pan's Neverland in
Portadown.
The slide, measuring a daunting four metres in height, is an excit-
ing addition to the hugely popular adventure area for children at
Meadows Retail Park.
Peter Pan's Neverland is already well known for providing a safe
indoor environment for children to run, jump, climb and have fun.
Children can come and stretch both their physical abilities and
their creative imagination to the maximum, while there is also a
relaxing environment for parents.
The centre features the following: toddler/baby soft play frame, a
separate adventure play frame for the older children, a 60sq
metre sports court, a kingsize trampoline, Ireland's first automat-
ed disco room and five party rooms.
Director Robert McKinney believes the
new freefall slide will perfectly com-
plement the existing attractions.
He said "We wanted to give the
older children a new challenge and
feel the freefall slide will certainly do
that! At four metres high it is a lit-
tle daunting to say the least. Although,
as we know for some kids it's the higher the
better!"
One person with parental control must
remain on the site at all times.
As well as the normal "play" parties for all
children there is a new "Tink's Retreat"
glitter party, aimed at girls aged between
six and 12 years old, which is proving
very popular. Based in a party room of
its own, it includes a host of `girly'
activities including dancing, karaoke,
eye make-up, hair curling and nail pol-
ishing. Bookings are being made three
or four weeks in advance and parents are
urged to book early to avoid any disappoint-
ment.
Peter Pan's Neverland is not just about
the children of course. It is an adventure
area where parents can relax and enjoy
the fun. They can play with the toddlers,
during toddler sessions or avail of the
170-seat cafe, where there is comfortable
seating, television, newspapers and inter-
net access.
Special group rates are available for schools and
youth groups etc. Please telephone for more

Opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 10am to
6.30pm, and Sundays from 1pm to 6.30pm.
Parent & Toddler sessions are Monday to Friday,
10am to 1pm (term time only).
The parent & toddler sessions offer
excellent value with under fours priced
at �3.75, with biscuits and juice includ-
ed for the children. At these sessions,
which are held Monday � Friday during
term time, parent/guardians are able
to spend "quality time" with the chil-
dren. During these sessions adults are
allowed into the frame and everyone
who comes has a very enjoyable time,
so much so that many come every
week! As an additional benefit, those
who arrive before 11am receive a dis-
count voucher giving a 95 pence dis-
count off a child's meal or snack box.
If you have toddlers or look after toddlers why
not try out the toddler sessions by using our
voucher, which gives entry to the parent &
toddler sessions for only �1.00, and avail of
the �2.75 discount. They must be used before
the 9th October 2009 and can only be used for
entry during the toddler sessions.

Tink's 2 hour made to measure parties are very
flexible and include choices from this list:
Hair Straightening, Hair Curling, Eye Make-up, Disco,
Karaoke, Dance Mat and Nail Painting
Children may also play in the main area by arrangement.
Boys are able to play in the main area followed by a joint meal.
Meal choices include: Burgers, Sausages, Fish Fingers &
Chicken Nuggets all served with Chips, followed by ice-cream or
slush puppie. Sandwiches can be provided as an alterative.
