THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT!
The View takes a look back at some of the
parties held at the Royal Garden Hotel in 2009.
PALACE SUITE RE-LAUNCH
After months
of extensive
refurbishment, the
hotel unveiled its
newly refurbished
2.5 million
conference and
banqueting suites
to a capacity
audience on 8 October. The night was a fantastic success
with live music from the Royal College of Music and a
stunning seafood sculpture specially created by Royal
Garden executive chef Steve Munkley. Bringing a royal
touch to proceedings, a lookalike of the Queen was on
hand to cut the ribbon!
EXECUTIVE PA AWARDS NIGHT
The newly
refurbished
Palace Suite's
first major
party was the
2009 Executive
PA Magazine
awards
ceremony, an
event which recognises and rewards the achievements of
high-level PAs and secretaries. The dinner and dance, on 9
October, was a phenomenal success with music performed
by Incognito, and a live DJ. A special transmission from
the kitchen showed Steve Munkley introducing the
menu, and massages on arrival gave an informal feel to
proceedings at this prestigious event.
RAT PACK BALL
29 October
saw a host of
celebrities flock
to the Royal
Garden for the
Jonathan Batty
Benefit Rat Pack
Ball. The 200
guests enjoyed
Lilia Kopyloya &
Darren Bennet
and Nicole Cutler & Matthew Cutler dancing throughout
the event, with a Rat Pack band ensuring the night
went with a swing. Guests attending included Brendan
Cole, John Barnes, Christine Bleakley and Batty's Surrey
colleagues Mark Ramprakash and Mark Butcher.
The Royal Garden Hotel offers a purpose-built business
facility with 10 different meeting rooms, designed to meet all
conference and event requirements for up to 550 delegates.

LOG ON, CHECK IN
Now it's even easier to plan a stay at the
Royal Garden Hotel...
In an effort to improve the online experience of all our
guests, the Royal Garden Hotel has launched a brand
new website. Designed by Hyphen Design and managed
by The POSH agency, the website offers a greater
number of visual elements than the previous site and is intended to allow prospective
customers to better understand the service and experience offered by the Royal Garden.
We understand that selecting the right five-star hotel in London can be difficult. We
wanted to remove this struggle by giving our customers additional online guidance and
support. A photo gallery, complete with images of the recently renovated areas of the
hotel, is one of the new features you can enjoy, and a full interactive suite of online
videos and 360-degree tours will be available once the refurbishment is complete.

As well as the new website, you can now follow the Royal Garden Hotel on Twitter.
