Greetings!
For almost 100 years, vocational and technical education has
been preparing a workforce in the Moraine Park Technical
College District. It is not just the occupational skill development
that has made this educational institution what it is today, it is
the philosophy of meeting the current employment needs of our
citizens and looking to the future need requirements. This is what
has made technical education across Wisconsin as viable today
as it was in the early 1900s.
As you view our 2008-09 Annual Report to our community, we
are pleased to share with you some of the stories that reflect
on the past year's activities that have positioned us for another
100 years of building a competitive workforce through a future-
focused environment.You can read and view videos about our
students making a better future for our communities and students that have looked to Moraine Park to
help them prepare for a brighter future. Our Upward Bound program is making a difference in area high
schools and our Graphic Communications students used their skills to record the creativity of Ripon
second graders for future generations. I am sure you will agree Moraine Park Technical College truly
makes our communities' futures brighter.
