The Hare and Hounds Inn is a country pub with
that bit extra, in a tastefully restored Grade II
listed building.
The Hare and Hounds offers a bright and
welcoming atmosphere, whilst retaining that
country pub charm and original features. The bar
area hosts five real ales and locally produced,
traditional bar meals from just 1637.50. However to
experience the best in dining, the restaurant offers
a pleasing, relaxed and intimate experience.
Exposed beams, antique furniture, dining by
candlelight and a menu well above average, sets
the Hare and Hounds aside from many other
similar establishments.
The adventurous menu offers locally sourced
vegetables to accompany a wide range of
delicious meals starting from 1639.95, vegetarian
alternatives are also available.
Starters range from traditional homemade
soup to Smoked trout fillets with a celeriac
roumalade and chicory leaf garnish. The list of
main courses
suggest something
for all tastes,
chicken breast
stuffed with wild mushroom foie gras mousse,
baked in puff pastry with a creamy tarragon
sauce, or for those with a more adventurous
side may wish to sample the Crab-crusted
salmon with saut233ed courgettes, potatoes and a
rich shellfish sauce.
A tempting selection of desserts are also
available, from Farmhouse cheese and duchies
biscuits, organic ice creams and an indulgent
