The support staff is made up of
school support, GS7 and below.
This includes Educational Aides,
office clerical staff and school sup-
port assistants. Each school district
has a Human Resource /Personnel
office. You must apply directly to
the individual district(s) you're
interested in.
Educator positions entail the
teachers and administration. To
apply, applicants must enter and
submit an application through
EAS, Educators online Application.
Before educators are even con-
sidered for a position, a resume
needs to be in the EAS system. You
should list your certification and
where you're interested in work-
ing. once there is an opening that
matches your certification, your
name will be placed on a referral
list. Positions are open continuous,
schools are always recruiting in
order to maintain a pool of appli-
cants. The majority of positions
are filled late summer until early
September.

overseas Educators. According to

parable to salaries for similar posi-
tions in urban school jurisdictions
having a population of 100,000
or more in the united States."

stitute teaching, apply directly
to the district or at the school
you are interested in. As far as
qualifications go, you don't neces-
sarily need a college degree to
substitute teach. A waiver may

NAF Opportunities - Morale,
Welfare, Recreation
Non-appropriated funds, NAF,
positions employ a lot of military
spouses in child care, food &
beverage management clubs,
golf, bowling, recreation, hotels,
billeting, clerical and administra-
tive fields. Positions are available
as regular full-time (40 hours per
week); regular part-time (mini-
mum 20 hours per week); flexible
(no guaranteed hours per week);
or flexible (with minimum 20
guaranteed hours per week). The
regular full and part-time positions
offer health and life insurance,
retirement and 401(k) savings plan
and long-term care plan. Annual
and sick leave is based on accrual.
Qualifications depend on the
position, for example entry level
positions for child care require a
minimum of 18 years of age and
a high school diploma or GED. For
other entry level positions such as
Recreation Aid, no experience is
necessary. others require experi-
