business which promotes additive-
free, good food; their preservatives
are also gluten free.
The business was formed in 2001 to
undertake the manufacture of good, tasty,
additive-free preserves and during these last
six years they have survived and blossomed
into the company they are today. Catherine8217s
Choice firmly believe in local purchasing of
ingredients and services, together with
packaging, labelling and supporting the
community who purchase the products.
Time is taken in researching the right
ingredients for each product, thus giving each
an identity. For example, their staff took part
in vinegar tasting to ensure vinegars added to
the taste of each chutney, rather than just
give the product the right acidity.
During the last six years, they have been
awarded fourteen Great Taste Awards.
These awards are considered to be the
Oscars of the Food Industry and are highly
sought after. They were also included in the
Harrods8217 Truly British Promotion and supply
prestigious internationally-known
restaurants throughout England. They also
supply high class delicatessens and farm
shops.
Catherine8217s Choice now has two sister
businesses. Dore Delicatessen is where they
cook much of the food on offer form
organic enzyme-free flour and salt-free
butter. The shop also offers a wide range of
good foods. Emily8217s Catering is the outside
catering business, producing canap233s for
nightclubs, conference lunches, wedding
receptions, three course dinners and much
more. These businesses also offer picnic,
