Easter Bunny at a Derbyshire theme park during
the Easter holidays.
Gulliver's Kingdom, on the A6 between
Ashbourne and Matlock Bath, is beginning the
2010 season with a range of Easter activities.
Children can take part in a grand Easter egg

park's annual Easter bonnet parade, where there
will be a prize for the best bonnet, and 1 of
admission for those dressed in homemade
bonnets.
There will also be Easter-themed arts and
crafts, as well as the park's usual rides and
entertainment.
Julie Dalton, Gulliver's Managing Director,
said: "We can't wait to welcome families back to
Gulliver's for 2010.
"We've been busy getting everything ready and
Easter is one of our favourite times of the year
there's so much for children to do, it's a great fun
and an affordable day out for the whole family."
Gulliver's will be open on Saturday, April 3 and
Sunday, April 4 for the Easter Weekend events.
It will then be open over the Easter holidays
from Tuesday, April 6 until Sunday, April 25.

Finding the bunny
The boys are back in town
THE 1970s will be back in town next
week, as a Thin Lizzy tribute band takes
to the stage in Derby.
Founded in 1994, Dizzy Lizzy is widely
recognised as the UK's leading tribute to
Thin Lizzy, faithfully reproducing the
sound of the classic rock band in their
gigs.
Their set-list includes both energetic
rock anthems and ballads, such as
Whiskey in the Jar, Emerald, Black
Rose, Still in Love with You and, of
course the classic The Boys are Back in
Town.
The band has appeared at many
prestigious venues and has toured with
original Thin Lizzy guitarist Eric Bell.
Upon first seeing Dizzy Lizzy perform,
Bell said:"I could only watch three
numbers owing to the emotions.
"It was spooky, the mannerisms and
playing and the resemblance to the band
it made the hairs stand up on the back of
my neck."
Dizzy Lizzy will play at the Flowerpot,
in King Street, on Friday, February 5.
Tickets cost 9 and doors open at 8pm.

MIDDLE-EARTH comes
to the middle of
Derbyshire tomorrow, as a
"zany" and "hilarious" one-
man show recreates
Tolkien's classic trilogy.
Charles Ross, the man
behind the hugely popular
show One Man Star Wars
Trilogy, will be bringing the
follow up One Man Lord
of the Rings to Derby
Theatre.
No props, sets or
elaborate costumes are
required as Ross speeds
through the trilogy in just
one hour, armed with
nothing more than some
elbow pads and his
imagination.
For those who have read
the books or seen the films
and still can't get enough of
Frodo, Gandalf and
Gollum, this show is not to
be missed.
Sir Ian McKellen, who
played Gandalf in the film
adaptations, said of the
show:"If you liked The
Lord of the Rings trilogy,
you'll love Charlie Ross'
version -- and if you
didn't, well, at least his is
shorter."
One Man Lord of the
Rings will be performed on
Thursday, February 4 at
Derby Theatre at 7.30pm.
Tickets are 15 and 13
for concessions, for more
