WEDNESDAY: Thrown a curve ball Traffic makes its way past a Safeway delivery truck that toppled
over at the newly installed S-curve section of the Bay Bridge, causing four lanes of traffic to be shut down.
The driver, who was not seriously injured, told investigators he slowed down too late when he reached the
curve, which has a lower speed limit than the rest of the bridge. The accident, which took place around
2:30 p.m., snarled traffic on the bridge until after 8 p.m.
