18 BLMGroup Gourmet & Good FoodGuide Recently voted by a national newspaper as one of the top
ten cities in Britain, Lincoln is often perceived as
Lincolnshire8217s unofficial capital.
The city, the only one in Lincolnshire, has become
increasingly popular of late particular as a tourist attraction.
The Cathedral Quarter is often the starting point for tourists
and offers plenty of attractions within walking distance to
keep you occupied before or after a meal.
In addition to the array of pubs along the hill, there are a
number of tea and coffee shops, both traditional and
contemporary in style, serving the most tantalising treats and
snacks imaginable.
Come dusk, many visitors to Lincoln head to the
revitalised Brayford Waterfront to catch a movie, enjoy a
stroll along the marina, or enjoy a bite at one of the many
eateries.
It8217s a popular destination throughout the year, but most
obviously during the Waterfront Festival every summer,
where street entertainers and live music add to the
excitement, as well as one of the largest Continental Markets
in the country.LincolnLincolnshire8217s
