The 1953 movie depicted the motorcycle rebel culture and proved a seminal piece of movie making,
inspiring generations. The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC), led by the charismatic Johnny Strabler,
the character played by Brando, were the original rebels without a cause and the image of Brando astride
his Triumph Thunderbird 6T soon became an icon of non-conformity. A chord that strikes deeply within
the hearts of Triumph and its riders.
This modern day replica includes all the key features of Brando's original, right down to the `Johnny'
embroidered chest signature and the BRMC distressed print on the back of the jacket. With its classic
highway collar, shoulder epaulettes and pocket detailing this replica remains as true to the original as
possible, right down to the way we've treated the leather to give it a vintage finish.
But not everything about the past has, or should be, retained. We've brought the protection levels bang
up-to-date with double impact seam stitching, CE certified shoulder and elbow protectors and a removable
thermal vest lining.
To celebrate the life of the original rebel, and under official license from the Brando estate, we've
developed a whole collection inspired by `The Wild One'. As well as the special edition jacket the collection
includes a men's and women's t-shirt and a limited edition print that features Brando's iconic movie pose.
