Advanced Physical Rehabilitation for Canines
The ARC provides rehabilitation for dogs using an aquatic treadmill,
inclined treadmill with extended walking surface, pulsed electromagnetic therapy,
diathermy and many other exercises.
Carol Jurca, PTA, CCRP, owner and operator of The ARC is one of nine
certified Canine Rehabilitation Practicioners in the state of Illinois. She has also
been a Physical Therapy Assistant for 20 years. Physical Therapy clinics for people
are a common sight and known for their success, why shouldn't dogs receive and
benefit from the therapies people have used for decades? Carol works closely
with Thomas A. Brooks DVM of Fox Valley Veterinary Clinic. Dr. TAB is trained in
canine rehabilitation and he preforms the Rehabilitation Assessment as well as
Follow-Up visits every 4 - 6 weeks.
Carol Jurca and Dr. TAB have the knowledge and top-of-the-line equipment
to improve your dog's walking and increase his range of motion. Using stretching
techniques, massage and exercise to increase endurance, strength, muscle mass
and balance, your dog's lameness, pain and inflammation will decrease, so your
pet can be happier and healthier.
The ARC also offers a Health and Wellness Program for healthy dogs
structured for injury prevention. Remember a tired dog is a good dog.
