that the wedding is on its way. Some guests
may not even be aware of your marriage yet so
it is always a nice touch to announce it in style and

Over the years, many couples have sacrificed the
sending of paper invitations for email invites
instead. However, part of the excitement of
planning a wedding is to add your own personal
touch to letting friends and family know, this is
easily achieved in sending out paper invites.
It used to be that couples would select a pack of
invites from a shop and write them out, but thanks
to modern technology, they are now able to add
something extra to this fundamental part of
wedding planning.
Many people now have the facilities at home to
produce something special, but it8217s perhaps wiser to
leave things in the hands of the professionals. With
umpteen other things to think about, you don8217t
want to notice a spelling mistake after you8217ve
printed out several hundred.
Hence specialist companies are very much
advisable. They can ensure that you don8217t miss out
any of the vital details, and advise you on the
etiquette in these cases. The invitation will also
have to provide important details such as the dress
code, how to reply, catering provisions and details
on whether children are involved 8211 things that can
perhaps be more tastefully worded by a
professional.
Make sure that you order more invitations than
guests, you might make a mistake or two and it is
inevitable that some guests will not be able to
attend. If you are limited on space, you can then
invite someone else.
The advisable time to send out invitations is
around two or three months previous to the
wedding, this gives guests the chance to prepare
without having a large gap in which to forget. If
many guests are coming from overseas, or if the
ceremony is being held in peak holiday times, you
may wish to send them earlier, but often you run
the risk of people being unable to commit that far
ahead or even forgetting about it. As a compromise,
some couples decide to send out informal messages
