Award for best student
Sara Scaramelli has received the CILT award for the Best Student on Maritime Business with Logistics. The
award was made in recognition of her entire work programme, including her dissertation: The Port of Trieste as
the access gateway to central and eastern Europe: a case study. She has now moved on to study for a Masters
degree in Rotterdam.
Roger Jobson FCILT, South-West Regional Officer, presented Sarah Scaramelli with the award, which
included a cheque for �250, at the Plymouth University Graduation Ceremony.

Annual Fellows' Lunch
The Annual Fellow's Lunch will be held on Friday 4th December at theThistle Marble Arch Hotel, Bryanston Street,
London W1A 4UR, 12.30 hrs for 13.00 hrs start.
All Fellows are invited to book � and are encouraged to bring a guest � for this popular event, which provides
an excellent opportunity to network with friends and colleagues and to create new business contacts.
Tickets are �65 + VAT (�74.75) for pre-lunch drinks, a three-course Christmas lunch, with wine, coffee
and mince pies.
The Institute requires payment for events with attendance fees below �100 to be made at the time of
