HOW THEY MET: In June
2003 on a night out in Fat Fingers
bar, Carlisle.
PROPOSAL: Michael proposed
at home on June 17, 2006
VENUE: Dalston Hall. The
groom and his two best men
entered the church to the theme
tune from The Good, The Bad
And The Ugly.
THEME: Ivory, pink and
chocolate brown.
BRIDE'S OUTFIT: An ivory
Pronovia's gown from Wedding
Warehouse, an ivory veil from
Capricorn, Carlisle and a tiara
handmade by the bride.
GROOMSMEN: The groom's
brother Paul Banks and Paul
Woodyard were best men. They
wore Jeff Banks suits hired from
Debenhams.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride's
sister Hannah Gadd, ten, was a
bridesmaid and wore an ivory
dress from BHS and a tiara made
by the bride.
FLOWERS: Hand-tied
bouquets of pink Heaven roses
from Eternal Flowers, Carlisle.
TRANSPORT: Rolls Royce
provided by Dalston Hall.
RECEPTION: Dalston Hall for
a wedding breakfast for 75 guests
with a further 25 in the evening
for a hot buffet.
TABLE SETTINGS: Tall vases
of pink Heaven roses from
Eternal Flowers and large silver
Candelabras.
FAVOURS: Chocolate brown
organza bags tied with gold wire
and pearls filled with Minstrels
chocolate.
CAKE: The groom's mother
made chocolate sponge fairy
cakes decorated with ivory and
pink sugar flowers from
Margie's, Carlisle displayed on a
seven-tier stand topped with
roses.
FIRST DANCE: Don't Want To
Miss A Thing by Aerosmith.
ENTERTAINMENT: DJ and a
firework display provided by
Dalston Hall.
HONEYMOON: Egypt.

Kirsty Marie Hawley, 26, a travel
adviser and Jonathan Peter
Robinson, 35, a self-employed
builder, live in Stainburn.
HOW THEY MET: At the
wedding of the bride's sister Kelly
Studholme in May 2003.
PROPOSAL: Valentine's Day
2008. Jonathan told Kirsty he was
taking her to Chester but half way
through the journey he told her
they were actually going to Venice.
VENUE: St John's Church,
Workington.
BRIDE'S OUTFIT: An Alfred
Sung natural silk gown with
ruffled detail with Swarovski
Austrian crystals around the torso
and down the back to the train,
from I Do, Cockermouth. An ivory
veil with silver embroidery detail
and Linzi Jay tiara.
GROOMSMEN: The groom's
cousin Stephen Studholme was
best man. The groom's nephew
Matthew Morgan and friends Mark
Bowes and Russell Mitchell were
ushers. The bride and groom's one-
year old son Ellis Alfie Robinson
was a page boy. They wore black
suits with silver waistcoats and
sage green ties from Dresses and
Dreams, Workington.
BRIDESMAIDS: The groom's
nieces Amy Morgan, 20 and
Bethany Morgan, 13 and the
bride's niece Abigail Studholme,
nine, were bridesmaids. They wore
sage green D'Zage dresses with
beading and diamantes from
Olivia James Bridal, Egremont.
The bride's niece Niah Studholme,
four, was a flowergirl and wore a
sage green dress with tulle skirt
from Olivia James Bridal.
FLOWERS: The bride carried a
posy of green and ivory roses with
greenery. The bridesmaids carried
cream rose posies and the flower
girl carried a wand with green and
cream ribbon, all from
Inspirations, Workington.
TRANSPORT: Blue and cream
Daimler, Rolls Royce and Mercedes
from A Touch of Class,
Workington.
RECEPTION: Hunday Manor
Hotel, near Workington for a three-
course meal for 56 guests with 100
in the evening for a buffet.
TABLE SETTINGS: Fresh
flowers with green and ivory roses
in fish bowl vases supplied by
Inspirations, Workington.
FAVOURS: Blossom Hill
miniature wine for the ladies,
scratch cards for the men.
CAKE: Four-tier round cake
with three tiers of sponge and one
tier fruit decorated with green and
ivory roses made by Mavis Fox.
FIRST DANCE: Hero, by
Enrique Iglesias.
ENTERTAINMENT: And Then
Some Entertainment, Carlisle.
HONEYMOON: Paphos, Cyprus
