Mr Miah, the restaurant was first opened in 1980
and in its 27 year history it has earned itself a
reputation for providing gourmet Indian cuisine
in a relaxed setting.
As a result the restaurant is often fully booked,
even on weekdays, with diners travelling from
far and wide to sample the Tandoori delights,
made using fresh, local produce wherever
possible.
Diners can select from an extensive menu
repertoire including, Chicken Hasina, King Prawn
Balti and Lamb Jalfrezi. For the more
adventurous, there are also a host of chef
recommendations such as the mouth watering
Moghul Massalla 8211 chicken or lamb tikka cooked
in Tandoori spices with fresh herbs, almonds,
sultanas, coconut and coriander.
The restaurant itself offers diners a warm,
relaxing and intimate environment which is
coupled with attentive and friendly service.
For diners on the move, the restaurant also
offers a takeaway service and can also cater for
large parties with a 10% discount on collection
orders over 16320. For those eating in, the
restaurant is fully licensed with a wide selection
of wines, spirits and beers including Indian
lagers such as Lal Toofan.
With a reputation spanning nearly thirty years,
Rahman8217s is indeed one of the county8217s finest
Indian restaurants and well worth a closer
