Section 14[1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,to prohibit all traffic from using
the following lengths of roads,except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting
at any time on both sides of these lengths of roads whilst works are in progress:-
1.that length of Holbeck Lane,Cheshunt from its junction with Appleby Street south
eastwards to its junction with Dig Dag Hill,a distance of approximately 509 metres.
The alternative route for traffic will be via:-
Dig Dag Hill,Hammond Street Road,Smiths Lane,Appleby Street and vice versa
2.that length of Kingsley Avenue,Cheshunt from its junction with B156 Churchgate
Road eastwards to its junction with Dewhurst Road,a distance of approximately
400 metres.
The alternative route for traffic will be via:-
B156 Churchgate Road,Church Lane,Dewhurst Road and vice versa
The purpose of the Order is to enable carriageway maintenance works to take place.
It is anticipated that the sections of roads will each be closed and the temporary waiting
restrictions will be in place for up to 10 days,sometime during the period 27 June 2008
and 30 September 2008,when signs are in place.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under Section
84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a 50 mph speed limit on that
length of B198 Lieutenant Ellis Way,Cheshunt specified in the Schedule to this notice
and under the provisions of Regulation 19(2) Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure)
(England and Wales) Regulations 1996 defer the remaining restrictions subject to the
original Notice of Intention appertaining to A10 Flamstead End Roundabout and A10
Great Cambridge Road.
The Order will come into effect on Monday 16 June 2008.
A copy of the Order together with a statement of reasons for proposing to make the
Order and a plan showing the length of road to which the Order relates,may be

2.To prohibit all vehicles from making a right turn manoeuvre from A10 Great
Cambridge Road into B198 College Road,whilst works are in progress.
The alternative route for traffic will be via:-
A10 (Great Cambridge Road,Turnford Link Road),B176 (High Road Turnford,
Cheshunt Wash,High Street,Turners Hill) and B198 College Road
The purpose of the Order is to enable carriageway repair works to take place.
