The role:
In addition to being responsible for the ongoing risk management of

strategies for asset liability management to cover interest, inflation
and credit risk for the in-force portfolio and new business. Other

The candidate:
For this role you will have ALM and LDI experience, and be
familiar with fixed interest, derivatives and swaps. Life &

building and developing stochastic asset models. This is a sales
focused role, reporting into the Head of sales across Europe,
Middle East & Africa. You will develop business plans to deliver
revenue and growth targets; build relationships with clients and
potential clients; manage profitability of accounts and
champion client requirements for your region.
A range of candidates are being considered from nearly
qualified actuaries to those with several years post qualification
experience. You will have a sound technical understanding of
Economic Scenario Generators and their implementation within
insurance companies in applications such as market-consistent
valuation and economic capital assessment. You will have
knowledge of the derivative instruments relevant to this, and
the theory underlying their pricing.
Naturally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are
a must, as you will need to credibly present the firm and market
the services to senior actuaries and other risk and investment

Ireland. A new pricing team is being established, and a wide
range of candidates are being sought from graduates to newly
qualified actuaries to get involved in pricing personal and

Here you have the opportunity to drive development on actuarial
techniques and may be involved on pan European projects, hence
there will be a certain amount of travel involved. For senior students,
you will ideally have pricing experience, having worked on Data
validation; Creation of standard account management metrics - claim
frequencies, loss ratios, conversion rates etc; GLM experience of
volume classes; Setting of standard pricing assumptions � claims
inflation, claims development etc; Pricing Reserving reconciliations;
Account analysis � creation of pricing recommendations based on
actuarial analysis.
Knowledge of SAS, Emblem, Rate Assessor and ResQ will be an

Reporting to the SVP, this role will provide overall actuarial and
pricing support to the rollout of Retirement & Protection
Products within Europe. This includes:
� Developing marketing, product and pricing models.
� Determining the financial hurdles (ROE, NI, capital usage,
risk profile) for the product.
� Developing actuarial and pricing assumptions (lapses,
longevity, stock performance) for the product line.
� Coordinating the development of hedging strategies.
� Supporting the assessment of product portfolio features
across Europe.
� Developing business modelling and reporting processes.
� Working closely with the Finance and IT departments to
ensure accurate reporting of reserves.
