SIR
-
I
wo
uld
like
to
re
ply
to
the
re
sident
of
Ne
ther
field
who
feels
the
estate
8216has
been
left
behind
8217.
Yo
u
state
the
ar
ea
has
been
ther
e
25
years
but
it
was
actual
-
ly
begun
in
1972
and
completed
in
1977.
The
houses
we
re
not
temporar
y,
the
whole
estate
wo
n
ar
chitectural
design
awar
ds
because
they
we
re
metal-clad
and
in
the
70s
con
-
sider
ed
ve
ry
moder
n.
They
did
hav
e
a
bad
pr
oblem
with
the
joists
being
too
far
apar
t
causing
8216bounce
8217i
n
the
upper
ro
oms
but
this
was
sort-
ed
out
.
Yo
u
think
your
estate
has
been
forgotten,
I
will
say
once
again
that
tenants
in
We
st
Bl
etchley
which
was
built
1964/65
still
hav
e
SINGLE
GL
AZED
metal
framed
windo
ws.
These
ar
e
the
or
iginal
win-
do
ws
making
them
mor
e
than
40
years
old
and
no
matter
ho
w
these
people
complain
nothing
gets
done.
Yo
u
mentioned
all
your
flat
ro
ofs
we
re
changed
to
pitch
ro
ofs
we
ll
we
hav
e
a
school
on
this
estate
that
still
has
flat
ro
ofs
and
pays
out
a
fortune
ev
er
y
year
to
hav
e
them
re
-
waterpr
oofed
all
out
of
their
allocated
spending
money
.
So
I
am
sorr
y
if
you
ar
e
not
happ
y
with
the
house
you
hav
e
just
pur
chased
(maybe
you
should
hav
e
gone
to
another
ar
ea
to
buy)
but
their
ar
e
a
lot
of
pr
oper
ties
in
MK,
especially
the
or
iginal
ar
eas,
that
ar
e
in
far
mor
e
need
than
you
for
updat
-
ing
of
their
homes.Jo
