a part-time sub-editor as maternity cover to
join the talented team in Bishop8217s Stortford.
Weneed someone to work alongside the editor
and deputy editor in producing both editions of
the market-leading, paid-for weekly newspaper
covering Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Stansted,
Great Dunmow and surrounding villages, as
well as helping to update our website. The
successful applicant will be an experienced
newspaper or magazine sub with a flair for
design, an eye for detail and accuracy, and the
ability to produce pages to tight deadlines
using Quark XPress and Photoshop.
The post, which will start inMay and initially be
for a three-month period, will suit someone
who lives locally, has a working knowledge of
the area and is looking for three or four days8217
work a week.
