us
rapid
transport
system
and
to
encourage
cycling,
as
well
as
consider
the
impact
of
lost
agricultural
land.
The
group
also
raised
concerns
about
how
the
proposal
would
heap
pressure
on
local
authorities
already
trying
to
deliver
thous-
ands
of
homes
in
the
county,
including
Northstowe.
Andrew
Lansley,
MP
for
Cam

bridgeshire
South
and
Cambridge
MP
David
Howarth

Monday

pressed

Northstowe

be
designated
an
eco-town
instead.

Lansley
said
they
gave

reasons
why
the
site
is
wholly

these
towns
because
they

going

commuter-styled
towns
to
major

parancy

green

she
