Tendring Business Guide
GET fit and have fun with
The Studio Health and
Fitness Club in Clacton.
During the last year or
two, The Studio has seen
many changes.
Knowing not all women like
the thought of keeping fit in
front of lots of people, the club
recognised there was a need
for a women's-only facility, so
The Studio launched a new
personal group training studio.
This purpose-built studio is
on the upper level of the club.
It has blinds all the way round,
so everyone can work out
without the fear of being
watched.
The Studio has a full-
resistance kit, treadmills,
bikes, steppers, free weights,
and rowers.
It also has lots of floor
space for the more traditional
exercises such as stomach
and bottom toning.
Understanding that not all
people are able to use the
equipment straight away, the
club books members in for a
couple of one-to-one personal
training sessions before they
go on to a group session.
This gives the instructor the
opportunity to find out what
each new member wants to
achieve, whether it be weight
loss, toning,
improving fitness
levels or
reducing blood
pressure.
Once The
Studio has seen
clients on an
individual basis,
they can then
participate in the
group sessions,
where they will
be given all the
help, motivation
and
encouragement
needed.
The Studio
has also seen
the launch of a new class
called strike.
Strike consists of a dynamic
and powerful combination of
martial arts techniques,
helping members to develop
speed, power and technique
for a variety of kicks and
punches.
Its benefits include a cardio-
vascular workout, increased
strength, all-over body toning
and improving co-ordination
skills.
The Studio also offers
vertical dance classes, also
known as pole dancing.
Get in shape and have fun
with this new fitness class,
suitable for all ages and
abilities. Book a six-week
course and learn a new routine
and spin every week and work
your way up to an advanced
level.
Self-defence is also taught.
With no previous training
necessary, the class is friendly
and informal and all are
welcome. Physical
strength, agility and
age are not
important in
learning the skill in
Wing Chun Kun Gu.
Want to dance?
Then join in the
adult hip-hop/street
dance classes an
up-tempo class
with cool
choreography and
funky dance
sequences to the
latest tunes.
So, The Studio aims to give
customers the results they are
after. Give The Studio a call
now and make that change in
your life.
