June at the Evans Business Centre on Gateway Park, South Hykeham.
Healthier UK is the brainchild of Anita Dobson, who established the company near
Newark after graduating from Loughborough as a Personal Fitness Trainer and Sports
Massage Therapist. Offering nutrition and weight Management, together with the
ability to take GP referrals, Healthier UK is able to provide comprehensive lifestyle
advice to clients of all ages.
Healthier UK is now expanding by opening a second health and fitness studio near
Lincoln, offering small group training sessions for friends or colleagues, in addition to
their successful one-to-one fitness programmes and sports massage.
The studio opens with a Strawberries and Champagne reception from 4.30 to
7.30pm. A special introductory offer of two half price Personal Fitness training
sessions, including a starter health check, will be offered to anyone signing up at the
launch.Firewalking may seem a rather extreme way to raise money
for charity but this didn8217t seem to deter volunteers, or their
sponsors.
The event, which was held to raise much needed funds for
Macmillan Cancer Support, attracted over forty volunteers who
managed to raise as much as 163400 each.
As event organiser Gemma Dixon said, 8220The atmosphere was
great and we had a fantastic night - I8217ve had some amazing
feed back so far with people telling me they have raised as
much as 163400 each in sponsorship, which is just brilliant.
8220We had everyone walking the Firewalk and not one had to
be rushed to hospital, not even a blister! I8217d also like to thank
the football club who put forward twelve people adding to the
thirty who had already walked. Many of these people have
been affected by cancer and personally wanted to raise money
