and secure, is something we all value highly
- with Careline this independence IS possible.
WHETHER IN THE LOCAL TOWNS OR REMOTE VILLAGES
- OUR SERVICE IS DESIGNED TO HELPCareline is a personal alarm system which offers 24 hour
emergency contact to anyone who feels vulnerable in their
home. It provides a pendant which can be worn either
around the neck or on a wrist strap - when pressed this
alerts the call centre. A member of the Careline team can
then speak to the client to ascertain the problem and
summon appropriate help.
Careline is operated by the Borough Council of King8217s Lynn
and covers the areas of West Norfolk & King8217s Lynn,
together with North Norfolk.
The alarms are fitted into clients homes by experienced
and sensitive Careline Installations Officers, supported by
engineers who are on call to address faults, together with a
skilled and knowledgeable administrative team.
In addition to the basic alarm, other supportive devices can
be linked. These include low temperature monitors, smoke
detectors and bogus caller buttons. Careline works closely
with the Care and Repair Service which aims to help home
owners and private tenants in the area over the age of 60
or who are disabled, to adapt their homes to maintain their
independence.
The very reasonable charges for the Careline service are
available from our base in King8217s Lynn. They include the
rental of the alarm equipment and for Careline operators to
be available at the call centre 24 hours every day to answer
calls.Sports Development UnitVILLAGE SPORTS
