Ware Rotary Club.Around 900 visitors
flocked to the Priory in High

One ofthe organisers,
Alan Thomas, said: 8220It was
very busy and met our
expectations. We hope it will
be even bigger and better
next year.
8220We8217re trying to keep the
traditional feel ofan old-

encourage families to come
out and enjoy themselves
with simple games.8221
Some ofthe pluckier
Rotarians braved the stocks
and had wet sponges thrown
at them throughout
Saturday afternoon 8211 with
Jamie Johnson being noted
as a 8220particular hero8221 ofthe

Music was provided by

Several charities ran
stalls during the event.
The fete raised around

which will be put towards
numerous causes, including
Ware and District Scouts,
